Are You a Risk Taker?

Post by Deej on Wed May 29, 2013 9:37 pm

Your Risk Taking Level: Medium-Low

You'll take a risk if you have to, but you prefer to err on the side of caution.
If something looks like it's going to work out, you may just go for it.

But frivolous risks like gambling totally aren't your style.
You prefer to have as much control over your life as possible.

This result is actually a bit misleading. I have taken a lot of risks in my life and the results of those risks have caused me be more cautious on some things such as how much I gamble. There is also a difference between taking a risk and how that risk makes you feel. I am generally fearful of heights, but I do not avoid heights, I choose to face this fear because the payoff is good and the feeling I get when conquering fears trumps the desire to avoid the situation. I have also been lost, terribly lost, and it is very scary and unnerving, but again, at most it just makes me try not to get lost when doing things that may get me lost, lol. I think these are healthy fears, the ones that cause you to be cautious, but do not derail your enthusiasm for adventure.

Your Risk Taking Level: High

Not only do you take risks when the chances of payoff are great...
You take risks simply for their own sake.

You are beyond a risk taker. You are a thrill seeker.
You love the rush you get from doing something potentially dangerous.
